Privacy Policy for Little Smile Clock

Little Smile Clock is an iPhone and iPad app that uses colours and animated faces to help children understand their sleep, quiet-play, and wake-up times. This policy explains how the app handles information.


Information stored on your device


The app saves the settings you choose, including profile names, sleep and wake times, play duration, blink and expression timing, selected character, and clock display brightness. These settings are stored locally on your device so they are available the next time you open the app. A profile name may contain a child's name if you choose to enter one.


The app does not require an account. It does not send these settings to the app developer or to an external server. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by your device provider under its own privacy settings.


Face ID and Touch ID


The app uses Apple's Face ID or Touch ID system to restrict changes to parent-controlled settings. The device performs the biometric check. The app receives only the result of that check; it does not receive, store, or transmit face or fingerprint data.


Data collection and sharing


The app does not contain advertising or analytics software. It does not track users, collect location data, or collect information from the camera, microphone, contacts, or photos. It does not share app data with third parties.


Children's privacy


Little Smile Clock is intended for families with children. Children do not need to provide personal information to use the clock. Parents can choose and manage the locally stored settings.


Deleting your settings


You can change saved settings in the app. Deleting the app from your device removes its local settings from that device. A device backup may retain an earlier copy until that backup is deleted under the device provider's controls.

This privacy page is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. Visiting the blog is separate from using the Little Smile Clock app. Google may use cookies and process information such as your IP address and browser details to provide and protect Blogger. This policy may be updated if the app or its data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new update date.
